Telecommunications and IT Networking
Throughout this course students will learn to carry out specialised design and support functions in telecommunications engineering. This may include optimisation and performance monitoring of telecommunications networks, diagnosis and repair of faults, and the selection and installation of equipment.
Advanced Diploma of Telecommunications Network Engineering
This course builds practical skills in telecommunications and network engineering, preparing students to support, maintain, and troubleshoot modern communication and data networks used across IT and telecommunications environments.
The program may include the following qualifications:

Certificate IV in Information Technology (Networking) – foundation networking and IT support skills

Diploma of Information Technology (Networking) – network administration and troubleshooting skills

Advanced Diploma of Telecommunications Network Engineering – advanced network systems and infrastructure support
Completion of this course may support skills assessment pathways for occupations such as Telecommunications Technical Officer or Technologist, subject to current requirements and individual circumstances.

Telecommunications and network engineering roles in Australia often earn around AUD 90,000–120,000 per year on average, depending on experience, role, employer, and location.
