To start a carpentry course in Australia, you must first enrol in a Certificate III in Carpentry. This certificate will provide students with the required skills to work in the building and construction industry in Australia and all over the globe. Common requirements for the course are:
1. Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
2. Completion of Year 10 (or equivalent)
3. Be prepared to complete a 360 hour of vocational placement or work experience
4. English language evidence
